Visit to UIRI Manufacturing, Industrial Skilling and Production Center

PAUL GUSIMBA represented A-lite Uganda Ltd to a visit at the Uganda industrial Research Institute(UIRI) Machining Manufacturing Industrial Skilling and Production Center.

This facility is located in Namanve Industrial park. The facility sits on 15 acres with modern infrastructure the Machining Manufacturing Industrial Skilling and Production Center is among Uganda’s most promising interventions for industrial growth. It targets building both human resource and technology production capacity, which will support the manufacturing sector in the country.

The facility is headed by Prof Charles Kwesiga. He is the Executive Director of Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI). An Industrial Engineer by profession, Charles Kwesiga has significant experience as a corporate manager, management consultant, educator, and entrepreneur.
